- Selecting Your Preferred Dates and Airports
- Start by completing the “Instant Quote Form” with two possible dates that would work for both the breeder (or sender) and the receiving client.
- Additionally, choose the breed of your pet and pickup and delivery airports that are most convenient. Keep in mind that our flight nanny service primarily operates from major airports, so selecting the closest major airport will help streamline scheduling.
- Make the Initial Deposit
- We require a $125 non-refundable deposit to begin scheduling. $100 of the deposit will be credited toward the total delivery fee and is essential to securing the pet delivery process.
- Once this deposit is received, our team will notify our network of flight nannies and begin working on your delivery.
- Scheduling Your Delivery
- The scheduling process generally takes anywhere from less than 1 day up to 5 days, depending on the availability of flights and the details provided.
- Once we secure the flight information, the booking party will receive an itinerary with confirmed flight detailsfor the upcoming delivery.
- Securing the Delivery Date with Final Payment
- After all parties have reviewed and confirmed the flight itinerary, the person responsible for the payment can secure the final delivery date by making the second and final payment.
- To complete this step, click “pay balance” from your itinerary email, and follow the instructions to finalize your delivery fee.
- Communication with the Flight Nanny
- Your dedicated flight nanny will initiate a group text with both the sender, receiver& PT Pet Transport approximately 2-3 days prior to the scheduled delivery. This message will include essential details such as:
- Meet-up times and locations
- Contact information for quick coordination on the day of delivery
- All updates, including any changes or flight cancellations, will be communicated promptly in this group text.
- Day-of Delivery Updates
- On the day of delivery, your flight nanny will keep all parties informed with updates on timing, any unexpected delays, and changes in meet-up logistics, if needed.
- For safety and organization, please keep all communication with the flight nanny in the group text only.

Travel Requirements
Pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to fly domestically. They must be in good health and fit to fly. If there are any special circumstances, complications, and/or allergies the pet has, this MUST be disclosed BEFORE booking us for pet transportation services in USA.
Pet must be able to fit in a 18” x 12” x 12” carrier and must weigh no more than 20 lbs. 20 lbs is the maximum weight.
If the pet is larger than the maximum weight acceptable and was not pre-approved prior to the start of the transport, the pet may be denied transport, or additional fees for overweight pets will apply and need to be paid before the pet is released. NO REFUND will be issued if the pet is denied transport due to being overweight.
All parties involved in the pet transport will need to have access to a cell phone with text messaging capabilities in order to communicate throughout the transport with pet nanny.

What is a flight nanny?
A flight nanny is a trained pet care provider and professional animal lover who travels in the cabin of commercial airlines with your pet comfortably stowed in an airline approved travel carrier. Your flight nanny will pick up and deliver airport to airport and tend to all of your fur babies needs while in flight.
How will all parties communicate during delivery?
Once your delivery has been booked, we will have your assigned flight nanny create a group text containing all parties involved in the pet transport in USA or abroad. You will receive a group text including reconfirmation of your flight itinerary and meet up locations 2-3 days prior to your scheduled delivery date. All parties will receive text updates throughout your delivery in this chat.
Where will I meet my pet nanny?
When you choose our pet transportation services in USA, our flight nanny will meet the breeder/shipper near the curbside at the departure of the airline the pet will be flying with. The receiver will meet the pet nanny at baggage claim. This information will also be provided in the group text you will receive 2-3 days prior to your delivery.
What items are allowed to travel with?
Your pet courier will have limited space so any items that are sent with the pet must be able to fit in a small book bag and be TSA approved. We suggest a small ziplock bag of dry food, a small toy and a small blanket. Your flight nanny will provide a travel carrier unless informed otherwise.
Do you provide pet insurance?
We offer our own in-house insurance for a cost of $50 that covers up to $5,000 in costs in the unfortunate case of injury or death of your pet as a direct result of negligence on behalf of one of our contractors.
Can you pick up from or deliver to my house?
Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t provide door to door pet transportation. We pick up and deliver airport to airport only.
